Once upon a time, River and Tom came to life. Two curious city kids with big hearts and an even bigger sense of adventure. Together with their magical bike, Rusty, they set out to explore the wild world around them and help real Nature Heroes protect our planet.

The Secret Protectors Club was born from that same spirit of curiosity and care. We’re parents too, and we know how important it is to connect with our children, and how hard it can sometimes be to get them off the screen and explore the outside world. Our mission is to help families raise mindful, nature-conscious kids by turning learning about nature into a fun, shared adventure.

Each letter is a doorway into that world and a chance for parents and children to read together, laugh together and discover something new. Every story comes with hands-on missions that bring the magic to life and end with a secret message from a real Nature Hero.

While River and Tom are imaginary, the people they meet — director of The Ocean Cleanup to founder of Sungai Watch and nature hero working with Patagonia — are real-life heroes working to protect our world.
