From ocean pollution to rainforest deforestation, rescuing camels in Kenya to protecting pollinators in the Netherlands, our Nature Heroes are themselves on a mission to inspire our Secret Protectors to engage in nature-related activities.

Henk Van Dalen
Henk is Director at The Ocean Cleanup, a not-for-profit foundation dedicated to ridding the world's oceans of plastic. Henk is also a keen surfer and his motto is "don't destroy what you came to enjoy". Wise words we think you'll agree with.

Neza Peterca
Neza is the creator of What Happened, a creative studio for all things outdoors and part of Patagonia's Worn Wear Program. The self-described Wildflower of Slovenia loves backpacking and is committed to inspiring women to explore the world around them more independently.

Tommy van de Beek
Tommy is a social entrepreneur, founder of The Tipping Point Foundation and The Pollinators who bring together local initiatives working in the field of biodiversity, pollination and ecosystem restoration to ensure the survival of all pollinating insects, especially bees.

Ranger Francis Thomas
Francis Thomas is a ranger at OL Jogi Wildlife Conservancy in Kenya. Him and his sniffer dog Tui play an important role in the protection of the wildlife and habitants of the park, helping fight poaching and theft.

Alexandra Vosmaer
Alexandra is the founder of Forestwise whose mission is to stop deforestation of Borneo's rainforest and empower local communities to protect the remaining rainforest. Alexandra also founded Fat Forest which works with the rainforest and its inhabitants to create deforestation free skincare products.

Ulrich Eichelmann
Ulrich is CEO of RiverWatch, coordinator of the Blue Heart of Europe campaign and producer of the film Climate Crimes. He is an ecologist and conservationist who is dedicated to river conservation and restoration. In 2014, Ulrich was awarded the Great Binding Prize for Nature Conservation.
